Child Sponsorship Creates Lasting Change in Kenya
The Ripple Effect of Child Sponsorship
The smiles on the faces of these children are why we do this work.
They are the reason so many of you continue to support the mission of Blair in Kenya.
For just $200 per year—about $18 a month—you can send a child to school and help change a life.
But the truth is, your support does far more than help one child.
Each student belongs to a family. By supporting their education, you provide that family with hope, stability, and the ability to direct more resources toward caring for their other children.
And the impact reaches even further.
Your sponsorships also create jobs.
Across our two schools, we now support over 90 jobs for teachers, administrators, cooks, drivers, farmers, and local business partners. Each of those workers supports an extended family.
That means your sponsorship creates a ripple effect—strengthening not just one child, but entire families and communities.
We see this transformation happening every day in Kisumu and Iten.
So thank you.
And please continue helping us grow by sharing this mission with friends and family. One of our biggest goals for 2025 is to increase the number of sponsored children so even more young people can access education and opportunity.
Strengthening Sponsor Communication in 2025
One of our commitments this year is to improve communication with our sponsors, helping you better understand the lives and journeys of the children you support.
At the same time, we remain committed to our 100% model—ensuring that every dollar donated goes directly toward the mission.
That means we are working to improve communication in a sustainable way without increasing administrative overhead.
Stay tuned.

A Special Campaign: Computer Center for Blair Educational Centre
One of our major goals for early 2025 is building a new computer center at Blair Educational Centre to match the success of the center at Blair-Serem Academy.
To complete this project, we need to raise $15,000 to fully wire and equip the room.
Our goal is to install 30 computer stations.
That means each station costs approximately $500.
To help accelerate this effort, Quint and his wife have committed to matching every donation made toward this project through the end of February—up to $7,500.
That means your gift can go twice as far.
A $500 donation equips two computer stations.
A $250 donation helps fund one station.
A gift of any amount helps bring digital education and internet access to students who need it most.
Through this project, students will gain access to technology, digital literacy, and opportunities that connect them to the wider world.
