Blair Educational Centre is one of two facilities supported by Blair in Kenya.

The Blair Educational Centre consists of an elementary and middle school with over 400 students, and 40 teachers and staff. In recent national testing, it was ranked as the #2 school in the region, outperforming every public school. More importantly, Elly and Zilper have hired a quality staff and created a vibrant and positive school culture. They are using the school to uplift the community as a whole. 

Blair in Kenya then added 2 American health care providers to our team, Dr. Jane Ferry and Bobbie Monaco, who spearhead our medical mission. We raised money to construct a medical center at the school, to fund a nurse’s salary, and to run annual medical clinics for students and the community. Additionally, we have started a community health program which includes a water purification system, flush toilets, female sanitation needs, and community health education.
