At Blair in Kenya, our Sponsor a Child Program is the heart and soul of our work in Kenya.
Without it, our two schools simply could not thrive.
For just $200 per year—about $18 a month—a child receives:
✔ Tuition
✔ Books
✔ School uniform
✔ Two healthy meals each day
It is an extraordinary value—and one we have worked hard to keep as affordable as possible.
Most importantly, 100% of every sponsorship donation goes directly to supporting that child.
Building Stronger Connections
From the beginning, we have matched each sponsor with a specific student.
But we know we have not always done the best job of making that relationship feel personal and meaningful for both the donor and the child.
We are changing that.
Going forward, every sponsor will receive regular updates directly from our schools, including:
A current photo of the student
Academic progress updates
Personal updates from school staff
A handwritten letter from the student
These reports will be shared at the end of each school term.
We believe these connections matter.
It is important for sponsors to see the real impact of their generosity.
And it is equally important for our students to know that someone—often someone they may never meet—is deeply invested in their future.
That kind of encouragement can change a life.
Meet Your Sponsorship Coordinators
To strengthen these relationships, our schools now have dedicated sponsorship coordinators.
At Blair Educational Centre, your sponsorship connection will be through Zilper Onginjo.
At Blair-Serem Academy, your contact will be Lynn Jepkemboi.
These coordinators will help ensure sponsors receive meaningful updates and that students understand the support standing behind them.
